Recently, Bank of Beijing won the bid of “Reform project of eliminating hidden danger of Beijing Grid” unanimously.
Beijing Electric Power Corporate of North China Grid Company Limited (NCGC) invited tenders in China in last December to select a loan bank for the “Reform project of eliminating hidden danger of Beijing Grid”. The total loan amount is around 2.11 billion Yuan, divided into 3 projects. With the joint work of head office departments and branches, Bank of Beijing finished the bidding document within 10 days and stood out of the competition of 4 banks. The Bank won the bid of the 1st phase and will grant a RMB 710 million Yuan loan to Beijing Electric Power Corporate. The fund is going to be used in electric transformer reform project, power line reform project and power distribution network reform project to solve hidden dangers and ensure a safe operation of the Capital’s grid.
