When the toll of the New Year ringing through every place of the country, the spring news spreading around every corner of the world, and the fast footstep of years knocking the door of 2006,behind ours is the first ten years with full of frustrations and hardships, happiness and resplendence.

In 2005, on the basis of successfully renaming as Bank of Beijing, we also succeeded in introducing foreign investors. The world-famous ING Group and International Finance Corporation successively joined in and became our strategic investor and finance investor respectively, which is a symbol of our bank once experienced in splendid 10 years, also the brilliant start for us to create future. From that time on, our operation management completely connected with that of international and laid a solid foundation for future sustainable development.

A thorough change occurred in external image and intrinsic quality shall be used as the summary of our bank in 2005. Stepped into world’s top 500 banks, dramatically elevated strategic status; introduced into advanced international standard, made the corporation management more perfect; capital power remarkably enhanced, strengthened risk resistance; operational performance greatly raised, created a growth miracle; management system continuously optimized, stably increased the service quality; employment system was more efficient, provided strong support for development; enterprise culture stroke root in the hearts of the people, cohesion formed the combining power for development. Just with the growth step of Capital economy, sing the times tune of accelerating development, Bank of Beijing composes a new piece of more splendid and brilliant poem.

Ten years is flying, when the glorious past has turned into everlasting memory, we can’t forget the care and support of Beijing Municipal Committee and Beijing Municipal Government, the guide and help of supervisory department, the trust and concern of all shareholders, various of social circles and local residents at large, particularly the hard struggle and selfless contribution of all cadres and staff.
